Clark Lake Advancement Association CLAA's mission is to preserve the lake, its water quality, its aesthetic, ecological and environmental health and significance, and to promote the safety of all those who use the lake for recreation.

Jacksonport Advancement Corporation The purpose of the Jacksonport Advancement Corporation is to promote Jacksonport as a family playground and to work for the betterment of the community; and to accept, use, hold, manage, purchase, or dispose of property (real or personal) given, transferred, or bequeathed to this Corporation. In case of real property, the Town of Jacksonport must be willing to accept such property before acceptance by the Corporation.
Artists wishing to be considered for a space for the Jacksonport Maifest Arts and Crafts Fair will find more information regarding the show and the application form in the "Forms and Permits" section of this website.
Community Events: Maifest - Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th and 29th, 2005. Festivities include the Juried Art Fair, Midway activities for children, Concession Stands, Live Music and a Softball Tournament. Maifest parade at 10:30am Saturday; 10K Run and 2 Mile Fun Run on Sunday at 9am; 4-H Horse and Pony Drill Team and Frontier Farmers Horsepull at the Ball field beginning at 1pm on Sunday.
Jacksonport Polar Bear Club The mission of the Jacksonport Polar Bear Club, Ltd. is to promote and oversee the group's annual plunge into Lake Michigan to maximize the safety of all participants and spectators involved with the event.

Community Events: Polar Bear Plunge - Noon on New Year's Day at Lakeside Park in Downtown Jacksonport. Hundreds of "swimmers" run into Lake Michigan, cheered by several thousand spectators. Swimmers get a free certificate for participating. Arrive early to sign a liability release waiver prior to the plunge.
Jacksonport Women's Club The Jacksonport Womens Club is a gathering of women who enjoy one anothers company and want to learn about new events, crafts and skills. They participate in fundraisers and contribute to people or organizations who are in need or have a goal interesting to the Womens Club.
