October 25, 2005 Lakeview Cemetery Committee Minutes
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT
LAKEVIEW CEMETERY COMMITTEE MEETING
Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 p.m. by Town Chairman George Bagnall. Present: Town Board members, George Bagnall, Jeanne Majeski and Eileen Phetteplace, Committee members Aaron LeClair, Robert Kufrin, Alvin Scharrig.
First of all, George Bagnall wanted to recognize the people who had volunteered to help with the cemetery committee. Initial committee members were Kari Anderson, Marlene Larson and Robert Kufrin. Current committee members are Robert Kufrin, Aaron LeClair and Alvin Scharrig. Motion (Alvin/Aaron/Passed) to appoint Bob Kufrin as Chairman of the Lakeview Cemetery Committee.
Length of term of Committee members needed to be decided upon:
1. Committee member from the Town Board (currently Aaron LeClair); will serve on the Lakeview Cemetery committee until the end of their elected term.
2. Remaining Committee positions to be either a one-year or three-year term.
Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to appoint Bob Kufrin to a three-year term.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to appoint Alvin Scharrig to a one-year term.
Suggest that the Committee hold an annual meeting every September.
The next meeting of the Lakeview Cemetery Committee scheduled for November 11, 2005 at 3:30 pm, meet at the Lakeview Cemetery.
Motion (George/Aaron/Passed) to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
