TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Ben Logerquist.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, Treasurer Carol Oram, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace.
Agenda. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the agenda, for the October 25, 2005 meeting as presented.
Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to accept the minutes of the regular Town Board meeting of September 27, 2005 as distributed.
Treasurers Report: Treasurer Carol Oram reported as of September 30, 2005, a balance of $198,079.79. Please let the Treasurer know if there are any new businesses that should be added to the roll book. Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to accept the treasurer's report.
Meeting open to Public Comment: Tom Donovan reports that Cave Point Drive, Clark Lake Court and Schauer Road need upkeep. They are heavily used by people, bicycles and traffic.
Brilliant Cities franchise – Motion (George/Jeanne/Passed) to table until a future meeting.
Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to abolish the Jacksonport “Dog Control Ordinance” dated
May 23, 1977.
Eric Wickstrom from the Jacksonport Advancement Corporation made the following offer to the Town: Revise their initial Town Hall bathroom improvements fund from $1000 to $1500 – matching the amount to be contributed by the Jacksonport Women’s Club.
Marlene Larson from the Jacksonport Women’s Club committed $1500 to be used for Town Hall bathroom improvements. Work to include, but not limited to: professionally clean the tile floors, new sinks, new mirror, and new light bar. Replace overhead lighting, towel holders, toilet paper holders, faucets. Remove the soap dispensers and stock pump bottles of soap. Consider painting both restrooms and the hallway if the $3000 budget allows. Motion (George/Aaron/Passed) to accept the offer from the Jacksonport Advancement Corporation and the Jacksonport Women’s Club and authorize them to go forward with the work.
Decision to apply for a TRIP grant would be made after the proposed Town Board Road Review to take place on October 27, 2005.
Reminder – The Town Budget Hearing scheduled for November 17, 2005 at 7:00 pm.
Petition for Zoning Amendment - Map (Applicant: Jon D. Wright, Tax Parcel No: 016-00-34292742V, V1, V2) Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to approve granting the amendment. Clerk will so advise the Door County Planning Department.

Invoices were submitted for approval.
Motion (George/Aaron/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
