TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Ben Logerquist.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, Treasurer Carol Oram, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace.
Agenda. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the agenda, for the November 22, 2005 meeting as presented.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the minutes of the regular Town Board meeting of October 25, 2005 as distributed.
Motion (Aaron/George/Passed) to accept the minutes of the Lakeview Cemetery Committee meeting of October 25, 2005 as distributed.
Motion (George/Aaron/Passed) to accept the minutes of the Town Board Road Review of October 27, 2005 as corrected.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the minutes of the three meetings of November 17, 2005, (Budget Hearing, Special Town Meeting, and Special Town Board Meeting) as distributed.
Treasurers Report: Treasurer Carol Oram reported as of October 31, 2005, a balance of $170,384.05. The Town received $21,420.96 from the State of Wisconsin, General Transportation Aids. The Town received the $35,000.00 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation “TRIP” program, (used for the construction on Logerquist Road in 2004). Tax collection times at the Town Hall will be 12/23/05 from 6:00-8:00 PM, 12/31/05 from 10:00 AM -until noon, 01/21/06 from 10:00 AM until noon, and 01/30/06 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the treasurer's report.
Meeting open to Public Comment: No comments.
County Board report by Keri Anderson
Brilliant Cities franchise –Town Board agreed to consider the Village of Egg Harbor agreement with Brilliant Cities. George would secure and distribute a copy of it to the Board members.
Door County Humane Society. The Town does make use of it. In 2005 eight dogs and one cat were taken there. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to donate $500 in January 2006.
National Incident Management System (NIMS) was discussed. No action.
2005-06 Traffic signing and marking enhancement grant program was discussed. Town would not qualify. No action.
Tom Jorn’s road request. Board decision is to leave it play out in Court of Appeals.
Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to transfer $35,000 from the Town checking contingency fund to the Town contingency savings account in December 2005.

- Copy machine
- Set date to audit books
- Fire Department – transfer money from checking to savings
Invoices were submitted for approval.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
