November 18, 2004 Jacksonport Budget Hearing
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BUDGET HEARING
Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the Town Hall
The budget hearing was called to order at 7:01 p.m. by Chairman Alvin Birnschein. Present: Chairman Alvin Birnschein, Supervisors George Bagnall and Jeanne Majeski, Clerk Eileen Phetteplace and Treasurer Carol Oram. There were approximately ten other people from the township. Tom Ash asked about the tax levy. Brad Bley and Marlene Larson calculated the Tax Levy to be $1.24 per $1,000 evaluation. Motion (Brad Bley/Marlene Larson/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The special town meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. immediately following the budget hearing.
Motion (Marlene Larson/Terry Simon) to adopt the 2004 town tax levy of $273,885.
Motion (Brad Bley/Terry Simon) to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
The special board meeting was called to order at 7:20 p.m., immediately following the Special Town Meeting by Chairman Alvin Birnschein.
Motion (George/Jeanne/Passed) to adopt the town budget as prepared.
Motion (Jeanne/Alvin/Passed) to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
