November 17, 2005 Budget Hearing, Special Town Meeting, Special Board Meeting
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BUDGET HEARING
Tuesday, November 17, 2005 at the Town Hall
The budget hearing was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall. Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, Treasurer Carol Oram, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace. There were seven other people from the township. Tom Donavan asked about the 2006 increase for highway maintenance. Elizabeth Gagnon asked what items fell in “Culture, Recreation”. George explained that a large portion of that category was for Smart Growth in 2006. Motion (Brad Bley/Marlene Larson/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:10 pm.
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The special town meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm immediately following the budget hearing.
Motion (Marlene Larson/Mary Herlache) to adopt the 2005 town tax levy of $279,360.
Motion (Brad Bley/Alvin Scharrig) to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
The special board meeting was called to order at 7:12 pm, immediately following the Special Town Meeting by Chairman George Bagnall.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to adopt the town budget as presented.
Motion (George/Jeanne/Passed) to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:14 pm.
