TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Ben Logerquist.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace; Treasurer Carol Oram absent.
Agenda. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the agenda, for the May 23, 2006 meeting as presented.
Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to accept the minutes of the regular Town Board meeting of April 25, 2006 with two minor corrections.
Treasurers Report: Eileen reported for Carol that the Bank balance on April 28, 2006 was $219,024.08. The Town received State of Wisconsin general transportation aids of $21,855.22. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the treasurer's report.
Meeting open to Public Comment:
County Board report by Keri Anderson
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to approve liquor licenses for Bley’s Bar (Ruth Anschutz), Bley’s Grocery (Wayne Bley), Mike’s Port Pub (Michael Lautenbach), Mr. G’s (Bob Geitner), Simon Creek Vineyards, LLC (Thomas Lawrie), Square Rigger Galley (Jeffery Roop) for the period ending June 30, 2007.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed – George abstained from voting) to widen the shoulder on N. Cave Point Drive, near the United Methodist Church.
Reminder: Open book will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 10 a. m., Board of Review will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., both will be held on July 15, 2006 at the Jacksonport Town Hall.
Town Roads – Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to award the repair of the bridge located at the intersection of Loritz Road and Bagnall Road to Paul J Spude. The estimated cost is $3,130. The bids received for Town Road work were opened and discussed. No decisions were made and it was decided to have a Special Meeting on June 5, 2006 to discuss the Jacksonport Town Roads.

Invoices were submitted for approval.
Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
