TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Alvin Scharrig.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, Treasurer Carol Oram and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace.
Agenda. Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the agenda for the May 22, 2007 meeting as presented.
Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to accept the minutes of the regular Town Board meeting of April 24, 2007 as presented.
Treasurers Report:
The Town received from the State of Wisconsin $5,480.40 for voting equipment reimbursement.
The Town received from the Department of Transportation our March aids in the amount of $22,289.51.
We are still holding one outstanding personal property tax bill. Treasurer will issue the bill again.
Bank Balance as of April 30, 2007 $254,949.80
Motion (George/Aaron/Passed) to accept the treasurer's report.
Meeting open for public comment. There were no comments.
County Board report presented by Kari Anderson
Due to the fact that the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 16th day of June, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. Open book will be from 8:00 – 10:00 am on the same morning.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to approve liquor licenses for Bley’s Bar (Todd Polster), Bley’s Grocery (Wayne Bley), Mike’s Port Pub (Michael Lautenbach), Mr. G’s (Bob Geitner), Simon Creek Vineyards, LLC (Thomas Lawrie), Square Rigger Galley (John Billington) and Sweet Lou’s (Lynn Bakken) for the period ending June 30, 2008.
Bridge repair needed on Loritz Road, North of Majeski property and south of Bagnall property. George will look into having the work completed.

- Door County Visitor Bureau - (economic impact of tourism)

- Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission
Invoices were submitted for approval.
Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
