May 12, 2008 Special Town Meeting
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
Monday, May 12, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace. Also present were Town of Jacksonport residents, Kari Anderson and Joanne Kuhns; Door County Planning & Zoning Administrator II, Kay Miller.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss with the Door County Planning Department regarding height and low density in the MC (Mixed Commercial) portion of the village area.
Motion (Kari/Jeanne/Passed) to change the wording of the Amendment to Petition for Zoning Amendment. The revised wording would read In the Mixed Use Commercial (MC) and Single Family Residential-20,000 (SF20) zoning districts located in the Development Core of the Town of Jacksonport, no structure shall exceed an average height of 28 above finished grade elevation or an average of 30 in height above preconstruction grade elevation whichever is lower.
Motion (Aaron/George/passed) to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m.
