Minutes of Jacksonport Land Use Committee

Meeting was called to order at 5:15 on June 27, 2006
Present were Al Scharrig, Tom Wilson, and Kari Anderson
Agenda was approved as presented.
Election of a Committee Chairperson was tabled until the next meeting, because only 3 members were present.
There was no public input.
Goals/ Expectations of the Committee were discussed. Direction from the town board was to have the Land Use Committee be an advisory committee to the town board as the county moves forward in its comprehensive planning,
Review of a Door County Housing Report by was tabled to the next meeting.
The 2001 Land Use Plan was partially reviewed by the committee. The committee discussed many aspects of the 2001 plan, and made some suggestions about updating parts of the language. The committee reviewed the plan up to page 11, to be continued.
July 26 at 6pm was set as a probable next meeting date.
