June 12, 2007 Special Board Meeting (roads)
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace. Supervisor Aaron LeClair was absent.
Opportunity for Public Comment. - (no comments)
The Town Board received and opened three bids and one estimate for Town of Jacksonport road work. Bids were received from Door County Highway Department, Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, LLC., Northeast Asphalt, Inc. and Scott Construction, Inc.
George read the letter form the Door County Highway Department dated June 7, 2007.
Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to accept Northeast Asphalt’s bid for the work on Plum Bottom Road for $134,576.65 and Cave Point Road (a TRIP project) for $97,723.10.
Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to accept Scott Construction, Inc’s bid for the work on the following roads:
N. Clark Lake Road $4,569.47
Division Road $10,239.92
O’Brian Road $1,849.54
Sunny Slope Road $936.57
Junction Road (to be determined)
Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
