July 7, 2005 special board meeting
TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, July 7, 2005 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Alvin Birnschein.
Present: Chairman Alvin Birnschein, Supervisors George Bagnall and Jeanne Majeski, and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace.
Motion (George/Jeanne/Passed) to accept the purpose of the special Town Board Meeting to discuss/act on proposed road work for the Town of Jacksonport.
Continue discussion of bids for proposed road work.
1. Acknowledge that the work on Clark Lake Rd., .44 mile was awarded to Northeast Asphalt, Inc. at the June 28, 2005 Town Board meeting
2. Motion (George/Alvin/Passed) opposed by Jeanne, to accept Scott Construction, Inc. bid for $31,750.00 for the work on Berger Road.
3. Motion (Alvin/George/Passed) to accept Scott Construction, Inc. bid, Option #2 for $8,260.00 for the work on Willow Road.
4. Motion (George/Alvin/Passed) opposed by Jeanne, to accept Scott Construction, Inc. bid, Option #2 for $11,700.00 for the work on Honold Road.
5. Motion (Alvin/George/Passed) opposed by Jeanne, to accept Scott Construction, Inc. bid, with the clarification that it is for the bid request which read “Bocheck Road, approx. .25 mile. Seal north 200 feet then seal coat .25 mile. Hot oil/stone chip (No Emulsion Oil),” for $1,800.00 for the work on Bocheck Road.
6. Motion (George/Jeanne/Passed) to accept Scott Construction, Inc. bid, Option #2 for $11,500. 00 for the work on Anschutz Road.
A Special Town Board Meeting to be held on July 13, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. to continue the discussion/action on the proposed road work for Memorial Drive.
Motion (Jeanne/Alvin/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
