TOWN OF JACKSONPORT BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Town Hall
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Chairman George Bagnall.
Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Ben Logerquist.
Present: Chairman George Bagnall, Supervisor Aaron LeClair, Supervisor Jeanne Majeski, Treasurer Carol Oram and Clerk Eileen Phetteplace.
Agenda. Motion (Aaron/Jeanne/Passed) to accept the agenda for the July 24, 2007 meeting as presented.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to accept the minutes of the regular Town Board meeting of June 26, 2007 as presented.
Treasurers Report:
Bank Balance as of June 29, 2007 $228,945.98. All liquor licenses have been issued and monies collected. The town’s final personal property tax bill has been paid in full. Fires dues have been received in the amount of $4,584.94. The State Elections board has reimbursed the Town $101.00 for extended polling hours. The Door County Tourism Zone commission has issued a check in the amount of $333.89 for the May report as July 7, 2007 cutoff. Motion (Jeanne/George/Passed) to accept the treasurer's report.
Meeting open for public comment. Robert Lewis asked about Schauer Park.
County Board report; presented by Kari Anderson. An item of note affecting the Town of Jacksonport, the County Board of Supervisors voted 21-0 in favor of supporting the Schauer Park Feasibility Study.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to open a money market account to hold the bulk of the Towns money; to be transferred into the general checking account as needed to pay the Towns bills.
Motion (Aaron/George/Passed) to contract with Ferrellgas for LP fuel for a period of one year beginning August 1, 2007 and ending July 31, 2008 at a fixed price of $1.549 per gallon.
Motion (Jeanne/Aaron/Passed) to support the Petition for Grant of Variance (Applicant: Daniel Rehberg) – Tax Parcel No. 016-34292724L. Clerk will so notify the Door County Planning Dept.

Motion (Aaron/George/Passed) to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
