TO:              Town, City, Village and County Government Officials and Staff, School Boards and District Staff, and Interested Door County Residents

I would like to invite you to an educational presentation by UW-Extension Specialist Bill Rizzo on the topic of  “Building Community and Engaging the Public in Local Government”  (Especially when the issues are complex and/or contentious)

Bill Rizzo has over 20 years of experience helping Wisconsin communities and residents understand and employ the best methods and practices for generating effective dialogue and deliberation – especially when the issues are complex and contentious.

In this educational program, Bill will share his view of best practices and offer guidance on how best to engage and dialogue with the public.

For your convenience, the program will be delivered twice on Thursday, October 6.

–         First from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Jacksonport Town Hall

–         Again from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Nasewaupee Town Hall
